Shorten a URL

If a link to a web page you are including in your post is super-long, use https://bitly.com/ or http://tinyurl.com to create a short URL on-the-fly.

Custom URLS with the NSP web address can also be set up in the WordPress Dashboard. Ask Lori for assistance if interested.

Post Guidelines

  • As a rule, always include a graphic or a link to the NSP webpage.
  • Use short URLs when possible.
  • Tag associated organizations (especially SPH units) when appropriate.
  • Be conversational or informal (yet professional).
  • Schedule posts in advance when possible. If there is flexibility to schedule posts on different days, then schedule them this way.
  • For dates/reminders, consider posting two reminders, maybe a week apart.
  • Preview posts and proof for typos, errors before posting or scheduling.
